In Honor of Marylise Mills

In memory of Marylise Mills, the hearts of students, teachers and staff poured out in
collaboration to embrace the passing of our very own 7th grader, Marylise. Her
memories, smiles, friendship and love is expressed through a set of purple wings (her
favorite color), each feather shows the love and support of our school community coming
together as one family. A beautiful expression of love and connection we all feel at our
school, “We are BR.”

The first Blue Ridge Middle School collaborative mural for the Greenville County District
Office Art Show. Art students and staff created a full spectrum of thumbprints to
symbolize the connection between different grades and the beauty of our school
growing together as one.
